My name is Yasmin Davis, and I specialize in drawing, painting, illustration, and design. My work mainly consists of abstract paintings, figure drawings, and illustrations. Many of my paintings use cubist or impressionist styles to create a unique view of objects and landscapes. I usually take ordinary objects, and manipulate color and shape to portray them in a more interesting light. When creating landscapes, I use color to help characterize the emotions portrayed in the scenery. I also enjoy creating observational drawings and still lifes.
In addition to traditional fine arts, I am also proficient in graphic design. I have had experience interning with the University of Southern California to create designs that portray various scientific and health research topics, and designs for Hecuba, Queen of Troy.
